Fair questions
So how is it free?
- Who pays for it?
- Nobody has to. The apps run on your own device, so there are no servers to keep paying for and no investors waiting to be paid back.
- Will you ever charge for anything?
- Only for running a server for you, like optional sync between devices, and only at cost. It'll be end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read it, and there will always be a free way to use your own cloud instead. The apps themselves stay free.
- What's the catch?
- There isn't one. The code is open, so you don't have to take our word for it.
